„Secret supper” museum education session

„Secret supper” museum education session in the Greek Catholic Museum
There were museum education lessons entitled „Secret Supper” in our museum in the second half of Holy Lent which involved 260 students. The puspose of our lesson was to bring the students closer to Last Supper icon and related artworks, and to get closer to the feast of Easter.
We started the session with a short film which helped to calm down and focus on the subject. Then we started dialogues about the topic based on pictures, and we finished the session with a role play which presented the event of the Secret Supper.
We received students both from religious and secular school schools. Some arrived from the city, some from nearby villages, but we also had students from Szolnok, too. We worked with diasabled and non-disabled children during these weeks, too. We involved everyone based on their own level of knowledge, and based on their personal abilities and deepened in the story on different levels. But all the lessons included the role play of the last supper, wearing special costumes of the Apostles which was a thing the students enjoyed a lot.
Based ont he feedback we can say that everybody who took part in this event got a valuable experience.
