With our ‘Santa Claus’ museum education session, we were able to bring the message of Saint Nicholas to more than 300 children. From 3rd to 6th December, groups of kindergarten and primary school children arrived to our museum one after the other. Three of the St Nicholas legends were discussed with the children in the exhibition space. The older children could also find the icons of St Nicholas in the exhibition. Everyone made Saint Nicholas bishop’s mitre in the creative room, and the children who left as the bishop’s envoys were served a little meal in the reception room before leaving the museum. We hope that the children, enriched by this experience, not only became like the saint for a short time, but also, by taking to heart the teachings of his life, will become like him in spirit.
